The Unverferths continued developing agricultural equipment and founded their company, Unverferth Manufacturing, in 1948, by selling tractor step plates and control levers. In the 1970s, they expanded production to include harvesting equipment, grain carts, and tillage equipment.

In 1993, after acquiring the Killbros Company and adding to manufacturing facilities, Unverferth began producing the Seed Runner and Seed Pro seed tenders.

Over the years, as bulk seed gained popularity, and seeing a need for equipment that handles bulk seed more efficiently, the Unverferths developed the Seed Runner bulk tender and the Seed Pro bulk box tender. Both models remain in production today and have seen improvements since their introduction in 2006.

• Unverferth Seed Runner: The 55-series bulk tank tender is capable of pivoting the conveyor 180° for easy self-filling from ground level. This model’s low-profile tank design with a large top opening boosts ease of use for farmers.

• Unverferth Seed Pro: The 10-series bulk box carrier seed tender can be positioned at 90 degrees to easily convey seed between sources. Unverferth models 410XL and 410 carry four 50 seed unit boxes while the model 210 carries two.

• Unverferth 3750 and 2750 Seed Runners: The model 3750 Seed Runner features a capacity of 375 cubic feet and the model 2750 holds up to 275. The self-filling conveyor on both is a patented design from Unverferth that aids overall efficiency when working with bulk seed.
